Do you feel that the job of writing good-quality content to optimize a website is a simple matter? If yes, you are entirely wrong. In fact, it is one among the toughest job one can take up or can be entrusted with. To be a successful SEO content writer, you have to do these things; attract readers, surprise and educate them and advertise the specified products or services without annoying them. You are also required to prove your expertise in the field of your choice.
Remember, a single post you publish online is powerful enough to determine your life online. This information is not intended to scare you away from the task or field of your choice. Just stay safe from the following myths and you would be well on your way to establishing a name for yourself in the industry.
- A SEO posting has to be of 1,000 words
As a webmaster, you must have heard a lot of people saying, the longer a SEO posting is, the more informative it would become. Some may even tell you that short postings are good; they would leave the reader asking for more. But, to be honest, both the statements are wrong. There exists no magical formula to determine the length of a SEO posting. It depends on the following factors:
- Your topic
- The kind of posting you plan to make
A piece of writing becomes great when it leaves your audience feeling enlightened. They should even be tempted to come to you often to know what more you have to say on the topic.
- If your article gets republished, that’s duplication:
This can be the greatest lie you can hear from your friends or competitors. When an article directory or a website republishes your article that is known as syndication. Duplication is the practice of posting the same content on different platforms. When writing an article or newsletter, your objective should be to get it syndicated as many times as possible.
- Back links are the strongest SEO tools available:
Know that there exists no shortcut to get high-quality links capable of raising your website rank. It needs effort and creating excellent-quality content is the only way to make it happen.
- Content should be updated at regular intervals:
This can be considered to be a partial truth. Search engines love fresh and unique content. But, that doesn’t mean that you should modify your posts every now and then. Just adding an article at regular intervals would do the job.
- SEO content should be high in keyword density:
Google likes key-word rich articles. But, they should not be inserted in such a way that they stick out demanding attention. Take care to ensure that keywords fit well into the article.
